The assignment
Under the national "Simandou 2040" programme, feasibility studies for two photovoltaic plants totalling 120 MWp. As a subcontractor to Artelia Guinea, BMC is responsible for the economic, financial and transaction component.
- Detailed financial modelling: CAPEX, OPEX and grid injection
- Financial and economic returns (NPV, project and equity IRR), sensitivity to output and tariff
- Legal, institutional and transaction structuring as a PPP / IPP and bankability analysis
- Power purchase tariff (PPA) options and impact on the national interconnected grid
- Governance and operation and maintenance model for the two sites
- Roadmap: contractual milestones, fundraising, procurement and commissioning
