About BMC Interco
Established in 2007 and based in Tunis, BMC Interco provides consulting, research, and technical assistance services to institutions and businesses. We operate in the areas of strategy, finance, organization, and project management, both locally and internationally.
Over the years, BMC has developed a vast portfolio of projects, collaborating with government institutions in several African countries, as well as with major banks and international organizations, such as the African Development Bank and United Nations initiatives.

Taieb Zitouni
Founder/General Manager
Taieb, an engineer from the École Centrale de Paris and a former student of the Institut des Études Politiques de Paris, specializing in Economics and Finance, has a multidisciplinary experience in both Industry and Finance.
​
As an engineer, Taieb Zitouni worked at Électricité de France (EDF) from 1979 to 1982, within the Directorate of Studies and Research (DER) and the Directorate of Equipment (SEPTEN), where he was involved in studying thermal and nuclear power plant projects.
In Tunisia, Mr. Zitouni gained industrial experience in mechanical construction before transitioning to corporate and project financing in 1991.

In the banking sector, Mr. Zitouni held various positions, including Director at the Studies Directorate of the Tunisian Qatari Bank, Director of Project Implementation, and finally, Director of Credit and Investment Monitoring.
​
Additionally, he served as Executive Director and later Managing Director of an investment bank managing several investment funds.
​
Through these roles, he has contributed to financing studies, project implementation, and operational monitoring of dozens of projects across various industrial and service sectors.
Imed Zitouni
Strategic Advisor
Imed is an engineer graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a degree in Integrated Engineering, focusing on multidisciplinary projects with a specialization in mechanical and materials engineering.
​
He began his professional career at Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards, the second-largest shipyard in Canada, as a detailed design engineer. There, he gained expertise in the structural design of complex marine vessels, working on manufacturing and assembly processes.
​
In 2021, he was promoted to Senior Hull Detailed Design Engineer, leading key aspects of new construction programs for the Canadian Coast Guard, particularly the Multi-Purpose Vessels (MPV) and Polar Icebreaker (POLAR) projects.
​
His expertise includes design optimization, technical manufacturing processes, process improvement, and digital data management, integrating IT solutions to enhance operational performance.
